The Red Sox need to bring back Kyle Schwarber by any means necessary!

So this got me thinking about something: Kyle Schwarber is still a free agent! Granted, the lockout is still going on. But once the lockout is over, the Red Sox need to get on it with signing Kyle Schwarber back and here are some reasons why.
Losing JD Martinez Won’t Hurt as Much with Schwarber on Board
The Red Sox face a difficult decision with JD Martinez. He’s on the last year of his five year contract he signed back in 2018. He’s older now and primarily used as a DH. However, with the latest news of a universal DH; it looks like JD Martinez has many more opportunities throughout the MLB. So if Martinez goes for one more big contract elsewhere, at least the Red Sox would have a DH candidate in Kyle Schwarber.
Kyle Schwarber has a Personality Made for this Red Sox Team
Kyle Schwarber fits in perfectly with this team. He takes the game very seriously, but also picks and chooses his spots to have some fun. Remember the press conference where he embraced that he is from Waltham, MA? How about when he celebrated making a routine putout to the pitcher on a groundball? Schwarber is a guy that needs to stay around in the clubhouse.
Kyle Schwarber Brings the Red Sox a Middle of the Lineup Bat
Kyle Schwarber is a middle of the lineup bat. Along with guys like Martinez, Rafael Devers, and Xander Bogaerts; that’s a 3-6 that is scary for opposing pitchers to deal with on a nightly basis. Schwarber can also hit leadoff if need be because of his incredible plate discipline. Having a guy like that in your lineup doesn’t happen very often. Another perk of having Kyle Schwarber on this Red Sox team!
In Conclusion
The Red Sox need to bring back Kyle Schwarber by any means necessary. He fits this team both on and off the field. If Schwarber goes elsewhere, it’ll be a monumental mistake by Red Sox ownership. Get it right. Bring back Kyle Schwarber in 2022 once the lockout is over!
