NBA Finals Preview

With the NBA Finals set to tip off tomorrow between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks, let’s break down the series in a little NBA Finals preview and who has the edge to take home the championship.

Will Giannis Play?

This is the main question entering game one.  We are seeing some very mixed signals on if Giannis will play or not.  ESPN has reported that he is doubtful but has shown good progression.  Twitter on the other hand is saying he will play.  I think he will also play.  There is no way he will miss game one of his first NBA Finals.  Not to mention, the winner of game one has a 77% chance to win the series.  Soooo game one is pretty big.

How Will Chris Paul Fair In His First Finals?

Chris Paul finally made it to his first finals and I couldn’t be happier.  He is long overdue and looking at the team he has had, it is kind of crazy he made it with Booker and Ayton.  Look at the Clippers team and the Rockets team.  But I am glad he is here.  I think it will be tough for Phoenix.  They are just so young and their veteran leader is playing in his first Finals.  It doesn’t look like a recipe for success, but no one thought they would make it this far.

Who Will Win?

I think this series will go down to either 6 or 7 games. But I am going to go with the hot team and say Phoenix.  I think they have a better starting five, bench, and coach. I think every starter on the Suns is better than the Bucks except for Giannis. Booker and Middleton are essentially the same. But I think the Suns bench and Ayton give them the edge and the series over Milwaukee. There’s your NBA Finals preview!
