GRONK’S COMING BACK TO THE SUPER BOWL…Kind Of
Patriots fans, you can now breath a sigh of sadness. Rob Gronkowski isn’t coming back to the Patriots this season. But, he is going to the Super Bowl. It’s just not the way that we as Patriots fans were hoping for in the long run.
There’s the big announcement we’ve been waiting on for days now. Gronk will be at the Super Bowl to have a huge music festival.
My Reaction
I was one of the first people to say this announcement didn’t mean anything from a playing return standpoint. Gronk is done for this season. He isn’t coming back to “save the Patriots”. So now fans, it’s time to move on and accept the Patriots team we currently have in front of us. Is it a perfect team? No, of course not. But now we know the truth, Gronk is officially not coming back in 2019. Now, this doesn’t rule out a return potentially next season. At this stage of the season, Gronk is happy staying away from the playing field and getting back to a good physical/mental state. I’m sorry Patriots fans, but we have to live with the consequences.
The Festival Itself Looks Amazing
You have to give it to Gronk for this one. This festival looks like it’s going to be an awesome time. Obviously, there’s Gronk being the host of it all to start. Then, you have a ton of names for entertainment. Open bar, amazing food, being in Miami, what more could you possibly want? When Gronk does something like this, he definitely does not mess around.
In Conclusion
Every other NFL fanbase is probably rejoicing with this news. Gronkowski was always a nightmare for other head coaches to gameplan against on a consistent basis. As far as Patriots fans are concerned, they can go back to their everyday lives. Now that this “big news” has come and gone, the Patriots have to get ready for Dallas on Sunday. We all love Gronk and wish him nothing but the best. But, it’s time to get back to work!
