Did the Boston Celtics turn the Corner?

The Boston Celtics held a players only meeting following the comments point guard, Marcus Smart, said about the two star players, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. That meeting was emotional and the players made sure to get out everything they were feeling at the time. After that meeting, the Celtics came out the next two games and won them in good fashion. One of those wins came against a top team in the east, the Miami Heat.

Now with that being said, is this when the Celtics start to figure it out? Not necessarily. The Celtics did this many time last year and failed to exceed expectation. However, I do feel that this is a different team with a different buzz.

My Thoughts…

I believe Tatum and Brown will find more motivation as the season goes on and do whatever they can to help this team reach their goals. When we watched the start of the season, there was a lack of effort from the team and no energy. However, these past two games, the team showed some fight. Was it perfect? No but it is a start and fans can start to feel encouragement from this team.

The Celtics will continue to create stories every week and last year, each story was very different. Lets just hope that this year storylines are going to be talking about how far this team can go when it comes to playoff time.
