The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks face off in game 7 tonight in Brooklyn to see who advances to the Eastern Conference Finals. Brooklyn will be without their star point guard Kyrie Irving. He’s still recovering from an ankle injury he suffered in game 4.
The Nets are the clear cut favorite to win the NBA Finals, which is something that gives a lot viewers no motivation to watch. However, tonight is going to a be one the biggest games in Bucks franchise history. For Coach Mike Budenholzer, this could be his last game as the Bucks head coach. It has been reported if Budenholzer doesn’t get this current Bucks team to the ECF, both sides will go their separate ways.
If Brooklyn Loses, the NBA Wins with the Bucks Advancing
For the NBA, having the Bucks advance could be the best scenario for the league. Why? It be a great story. The Bucks have been through a lot as a franchise these past couple season. So much expectations with very little results. Now, they have a chance to go into Brooklyn and make a statement.
This would break the Brooklyn Nets as expectation is championship or bust. I believe with the lack of leadership on that team, Brooklyn wouldn’t recover from an early playoff exit.
A Brooklyn Loss Would be a Huge Win for the NBA
Brooklyn losing tonight would make the conference finals even more special. Even though, Brooklyn have zero championship banners, it be more exciting to have teams who had very little chance to win a championship, battle for the title. Game tips off at 8:30 tonight in Brooklyn.
