3 Things to Watch For in Buffalo At Jacksonville

The Buffalo Bills are 5-2 after defeating the Miami Dolphins last week and will look to go 6-2 as they will head down to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. In this article, I’m going to give you 3 things to watch for during the game.

Playing a Full 60

Buffalo Bills 26, Miami Dolphins 11: Final score, recap, highlights

Despite beating Miami last week, Buffalo’s offense took a little while to get going. Their defense was great but the offense didn’t look like the offense we’re used to seeing until the second half. I would like to see the Bills to get going right away on Sunday against the Jags. The Bills offense went 3 and out on the first drive last week. According to Pro Football Reference, Jacksonville’s defense is 26th in team defense, 18th in passing defense and 9th in rushing defense. I want to see if Buffalo’s offense can fire on all cylinders right from the start.

First Look at Lawrence

Trevor Lawrence in the spotlight as Jaguars visit Bengals in prime time Thursday

Just like every team Jacksonville is facing this year, the Bills will get their first look at the first overall pick from this years draft Trevor Lawrence. According to ESPN, Lawrence has 1,703 passing yards, 8 touchdowns and 9 interceptions this season. Despite his numbers not being that good and his team being 1-6, Buffalo cannot take Trevor and the Jags lightly. However, I’m confident the Bills defense will be ready to go and we’ll see if they can make life difficult for the rookie.

Getting More Players Involved

Buffalo Bills Week 8 Report Card: Beasley sparks offense, Bills win 26-11 | Football | auburnpub.com

Last week against the Dolphins, Buffalo got a couple of players more involved in the offense. Both Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis were used more often than usual. With Dawson Knox out with an injury, Davis registered a touchdown and Beasley got a lot more passes and it’s good to see Cole getting the ball more because during the last couple of weeks, he hasn’t been much of a factor. I’m sure him and Davis will be more involved this weekend against Jacksonville.
