Miami at Buffalo: 3 Things to Watch For!

After a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Tennessee Titans and with the bye week over with, the Buffalo Bills will look to bounce back at home as they will host the Miami Dolphins on Halloween. It will be the final time for a Dolphins vs. Bills meeting this season as the first one happened in Week 2 where the Bills blew out the Dolphins. Here are 3 things I’m watching for during the game.

Bills Looking to Bounce Back

Titans stun the Buffalo Bills 34-31 on Monday Night Football | WKRN News 2

As good as Buffalo’s defense has been this season, the Titans game was their worst performance. They allowed Tennessee to score on 6 straight drives, Ryan Tannehill registered 216 passing yards and Derrick Henry scored 3 touchdowns on 143 rushing yards. After having a tough game, I expect the Bills defense to rebound against the Dolphins. In the shutout during Week 2, Buffalo’s defense dominated so we’ll see what happens on Sunday.

Continuing to Dominate

There’s no secret that Bills quarterback Josh Allen has dominated the Dolphins. As you can see in the tweet below, when it comes to Dolphins vs. Bills, Josh has owned Miami in his young career.

In Week 2, Allen went 17/33, throwing for 179 yards, registering 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Josh started out slow at the beginning of the season but ever since Week 3, Allen has been playing very well and he will look to keep on doing his thing against Miami this weekend.

Cutting Down on Flags

The last thing I want to see Buffalo do is cutting down on flags. During the last two weeks, Buffalo has taken a total of 18 penalties. 10 of those were against Kansas City and 8 of those were against the Titans. Regardless of if those penalties were warranted a flag or not, Buffalo needs to be more disciplined. I’m sure head coach Sean McDermott has told them to be more disciplined but they need to stop taking penalties because it will cost them and it costed them a game leading touchdown in Nashville towards the end of the game.
