Where’s Kemba!?!

Breaking news from the NBA bubble, Kemba Walker is missing!!!! He was last seen on the floor for game 5 against the Raptors. In all seriousness though, where is Kemba Walker? Literally he has been a no show multiple times in this series. The inconsistency by the 140 million dollar man is disappointing to say the least. Kemba Walker needs to play better or it is all over folks. We know what we are going to get from Tatum, Brown and Smart; but besides the fact that the three point shooting has dictated this series. Kemba’s play has also been a big factor in this series.

When he is aggressive, driving to the basket, able to create his own shot, and can help create for his teammates; it helps put the Celtics in really good shape. Especially with Gordon Hayward being out, they need a consistent third option scoring and Kemba hasn’t been that. Marcus Smart has been a more consistent third option than Kemba has been this series. Friday will be the most important game in this new Celtics era and probably the most important game since the BIG 3 era a decade ago. I know Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart are showing on Friday, but will Kemba? I honestly don’t know. Whatever happens in Game 7, that will stay with a group for a long time and Kemba’s play will help determine what side of history that the Celtics are on.
