Is Kevin Durant being a bad friend or a realist?
Honestly, I think he’s just being real with CJ. “You know you guys aren’t going to win a championship.” I mean, what else are you supposed to say when you’re a part of the best team that’s ever been assembled? The Warriors have basically been running the league since 2015. Why should anyone believe the Blazers will have a shot during the Lillard/McCollum era while this GSW team is still a thing? Nothing in sports is ever a foregone conclusion, but Golden State dominating the NBA next year and for years to come is as close as we’re going to get (barring injury of course). I do think it’s funny that Durant is rubbing that in McCollum’s face though. He’s earned the right to do so.
