The Daily (2/17/21)
Welcome back to another edition of The Daily. Today we are looking to work on adding onto our great start of the week. Yesterday we went 4-0 in the UCL and we made 7.25 units in those bets. We got a good slate of games in the NBA, NHL, CBB and in the Champions League as well. I am looking to continue my winning ways. With that being said here are my daily plays for the day.
NBA: 3-4 (-0.72u)
Portland vs New Orleans
Portland is on the road tonight at New Orleans. The Blazers won last night at Oklahoma City, while the Pelicans won at Memphis last night. New Orleans have won five out of their last eight. Portland has won five straight and eight out of their last ten. Damian Lillard has been a man on a mission since the injury to C.J. McCollum. Lillard has seen his usage go through the roof, but he has been efficient to say the least. Portland is also 8-2 against the spread in their last ten road games. They are also 10-4 against the spread on the road this year as well.
The Pelicans have started to slowly figure it out this season and in their last ten meetings with Portland they are 7-3 both straight up and against the spread. New Orleans has won three straight against Portland. Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson are starting to make a big time impact and will look to beat a team who’s number they had as of late. The Pelicans dropped 144 points last night and I see them not being able to put up that many points tonight. Damian Lillard is going to be a problem tonight.
