The Daily (1/24/21)

Welcome back to another edition of the daily. Yesterday we had our first negative day all week, as we finished 7-9-1 and lost 0.95 units. Today though we are back with a huge Sunday slate of games. We have the conference championships in football, games in the NBA, NHL, and College Basketball as well. Jammed packed Sunday is among us and with that being said here are my daily gambling picks.

NFL: 

Tampa Bay vs Green Bay 

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be playing in the freezing cold today against the Green Bay Packers. These two teams met earlier this season and Aaron Rodgers and company played their worst game all season long. Now we get the playoff matchup that the NFL has been waiting to see for years now, but it is in the NFC Championship instead of the Super Bowl. That playoff matchup is Tom Brady vs Aaron Rodgers. A stat for both sides that will try and draw you into betting in that direction are as followed.

The Buccaneers in their last seven road games are 7-0 straight up. Green Bay in their last nine playoff games are 7-2 against the spread. One big factor that is going to play in today is how cold it will be in Green Bay. It will be in the mid to high 20’s during the game and the majority of the Buccaneers players have not played much in the freezing cold. We can obviously count Brady, but what about his receivers. Well only two of his receivers are use to playing in the cold and one of them is not playing this week. Big factor for me in my opinion. Not having Antonio Brown and then rookie Tyler Johnson who played football at the University of Minnesota being the only one of Brady’s targets that is use to this weather will be an issue.
