The Celtics were up 3-0 and Still Let the 76ers get Inside their Heads
I need to say this first and foremost, as of May 7th, 2018, I officially hate Joel Embiid. When he was doing his stupid shenanigans before to Andre Drummond and whoever else, I thought it was all funny and shit. Then he decided to come at my boy Terry Rozier and that changed it all. In the second half of game 4 after the play was whistled dead, Terry was going to hand the ball to the referee and Embiid pulled a jackass move to knock the ball away. Rozier didn’t take that lightly threw some fists at the 7-foot center. That beef was the beginning of the end for the Celtics and their chances to sweep.
Embiid Must Have Forgot they were Down 0-3
Nobody else in their right mind would be talking that talk on the brink of elimination. Even when Marcus Morris held up the “3-0” with his hands it didn’t stop them. Maybe they knew it would get them that win to avoid the sweep. Both teams are very young and very easy to rattle, and the Celtics are dumb as dirt for letting it happen to them with such a lead in the series. All they had to do was keep their composure and they would have more than likely finished off the Sixers. Of course, the referees were clearly against a sweep and that helped decide it. The Celtics are 0-8 in the last 8 playoff games officiated by Tony Brothers. Seems too convenient for me.
Do the Sixers have Hope now?
Nobody in NBA history has ever come back from down 0-3 in a playoff series. With that said, I’m not gonna be the idiot to say that the Sixers will come back in this series to win it. The Sixers will fight for their lives in this series since they actually believe they will come back and win it. That fighting gives them a swinger’s chance to make history. Boston needs to end their lives in Boston or else things get really iffy. If they lose at home in game 5 that means they’re going back to hostile Philly for game 6. Philly should win at home and then we all know that anything can happen in game 7. Boston needs to win game 5 and get that rest for when Lebron James comes to town.
