5 Questions Coming Out Of Avengers: Infinity War
2 weeks after its release, Avengers: Infinity War is still making big headways the movie world. It became the 3rd movie ever to make $100 million dollars plus on its 2nd weekend. So it’s safe to say that a lot of people have seen this movie. Now that the movie has been out for a little, I will be posting some spoiler questions that Infinity War raises that hopefully will be answered a year from now in Avengers 4. Once again, SPOILERS!
5 How Will The New Heroes Factor In- The only major heroes not to appear in Infinity War were Ant-Man and Hawkeye. They are both reference however as they are both on house arrest from the events of Civil War. Now that half of the universe has been wiped out, my guess is that they’ll be let off early and help the Avengers. Wasp is also expected to make her Avengers debut in this film as well. But the most important new character will be Captain Marvel. She makes her big screen debut in her own film next year and will also appear in Avengers 4. She is expected to be the most powerful hero Marvel has ever introduced so expectations are sky high for her.
4 Where Did Thanos Go- The very last scene of Infinity War is Thanos looking out at the sun with a smile on his face. But he’s on a different planet that we have not seen before. What planet is that? It can’t be Titan since that planet is destroyed so maybe it’s Gamora’s home world that he talked about earlier. It’s going to be important to see where Thanos went so the Avengers can track him down.
3 What Future Did Doctor Strange See- When the Avengers and the Guardians are discussing how to take on Thanos, Doctor Strange goes into the future and tells everyone there’s only one way they beat him. After Thanos beats everyone, Doctor Strange gives him the Time Stone to spare Tony Stark’s life. Why would Strange do this? To me, Tony Stark is the key. He is the smartest person in the world must be the key to defeating Thanos. Strange must have also realized that Thanos was going to get the stones no matter what they did.
2 Is The Infinity Gauntlet Broken- When Thanos finally does his iconic snap, the Infinity Gauntlet which holds all of the stones looks burnt to a crisp. Does the Gauntlet even work anymore? Thanos was able to teleport after he did the snap, but he only had to use the space stone to teleport. One would think that for the Avengers to reverse the events from Infinity War, they would have to use the Gauntlet to reverse time. If they can’t use the one that Thanos has, then maybe they make another trip to Nidavelir.
1 Who Is Actually Dead- Well, this is the question everyone has coming out of Infinity War. Thanos won and A LOT of people died. The list includes Loki, Heimdall, Gamora, and Vision whom died before the snap. Then after the snap; it was Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the entire Guardians of the Galaxy (expect Rocket) that met their maker. So what happens now? To me it’s pretty simple, it’s not a coincidence that the original Avengers survived Thanos’ purge. Avengers 4 will be about them trying to reverse the events the snap caused. So to me, everyone who was killed by the snap will be resurrected while everyone who died before will stay dead. It wouldn’t make sense for those characters to come back. They served a purpose on Thanos’ journey to collect all of the stones (especially Gamora and Vision) and it would undercut the stakes a lot if they were brought back.
