Seahawks at Packers: Fantasy Football Preview
The Seahawks at Packers game is set to be a showdown at Lambeau Field. Russell Wilson (QB) returns to action after an injury. Aaron Rodgers’ potential return from COVID protocol, makes this a must-watch game on Sunday. Looking at this match from a fantasy football point-of-view, I share with you my starting option as well as some other thoughts.
Let’s get started.
Your Starter: Seahawks at Packers!
Davante Adams – Green Bay Wide Receiver

As the season continues, Davante is seeing more and more targets per game. Just last week, during a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Adams was targeted 14 times. Coming onto this week, Adams is already in a much more favorable match as the Seahawks defense deals with issues covering wide-receivers. The one thing that is questionable, is who would be throwing the ball his way.
Will it be the rookie QB Jordan Love? Or will it be time to see a dominant production which he can post easily if Rodgers returns from COVID protocol. Either way, you should start him confidently and could expect him to have a touchdown in this game.
The Bench Warmer!
Alex Collins – Seattle Seahawks Running Back

There are two factors that lead me to think that is best to bench Alex this week.
For starters, Green Bay’s defense against running backs is strong. One thing that Green Bay’s defense knows how to handle is backs, and they have been respectable all season long. The rushing game is something they can control and from a fantasy standpoint, Green Bay’s defense hasn’t let off the gas since week two. In each of those games, that defense hasn’t produced less than six points in most PPR leagues.
Secondly, the potential return of Chris Carson to action could mean that Collins will need to split production. Therefore, this week it would be best to leave Collins on the bench.
Potential Waiver Wire Pick Up!
Marquez Valdes-Scantling – Green Bay Wide Receiver

While Green Bay’s depth is set to be at full capacity this week against Seattle, MVS is a guy I would consider picking up at waivers especially in deep leagues.
The potential of Rodgers’ return is strong, in fact, he could be activated sooner than you think. With Seattle’s defense being extremely shaky against the wide-receiving game especially in deep pass situations, this lines up a perfect opportunity for Valdes-Scantling to earn your trust.
If there’s a QB in the whole entire NFL that loves to throw deep, is definitely Rodgers! Guess who he strongly trusts in those situations! Exactly.
