Price Continues to be Largest Diva in New England

David Price once again was shelled in a short outing, in just five innings price gave up six runs on eight hits.  That would have been disappointing enough and a shit start in an important game, following up a good start against a shit team is well into “Vintage Price” territory but Price put the cherry on the shit sunday when he blew up on the media and cried victim for the millionth time.  Thursdays Yankees game was like a greatest hits album of Price’s disappointing tenure with the Sox.

Price let the press know that he will no longer be talking to the media on days where he doesn’t pitch, which fair enough don’t know why he would have to.  The problem comes when he bitched at the media saying that “They can go fuck themselves!” in a childish rant.  Price doubled down on his comments, which is extra idiotic.  Price is like the kid who yells “I don’t care!” through tears at the party, because everyone was making fun of him.  It could not be more obvious that the Boston sports writers have more real estate in his head than BC does in Brighton.

Price is a diva, which isn’t a problem for sports fans that have previously embraced Randy Moss, Manny Ramirez, and shit load of others.  What makes Price different from those guys is they never had to say “I don’t give a fuck” because it was written on their forehead and they backed up their behavior with on field production.  Price wants to endear himself to the Boston market but that is never going to happen as long as he is sucking on the mound and complaining after the game.  Boston loves a winner and Price has shown he has the potential to bring the sox a lot of wins if he can just get out of his own head.
