Pablo Sandoval Hits The 10 Day Disabled List

Today the Red Sox announced that tub of lard 3rd baseman, Pablo Sandoval, would be placed on the 10 day disabled list with a left inner ear infection.

My God is this guy pathetic. Can we please just see the Red Sox grow a pair, admit Sandoval was a huge mistake, cut him and move on already? Seriously, how much longer are we going to have to endure this guy’s tenure here in Boston?

He has been nothing but a problem since the day he arrived in Fort Meyers during Spring Training, 2015. And of course I don’t mean a Josh Beckett type problem where he’s tempting people to slug brews in the clubhouse during games, but I’m talking about his injuries, his poor fielding and oh, you can’t miss his atrocious hitting.

He has easily been one of the Red Sox most disgusting and disheartening signings that this team has ever seen. He’s cutting it close to being a Carl Crawford sized monstrosity to this organization. Still zero clue how the Red Sox convinced the Dodgers to take on that contract. Insane. If the Dodgers had brain cells the Sox would still be paying Crawford.

But in my honest opinion, I think we have seen the last of Pablo Sandoval in a Red Sox uniform. He has to be done. There’s just no way around it anymore. He’s a liability in the field and is only allowed to be at the plate if there’s a righty on the mound… THAT’S A 95 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACTED PLAYER. We are KIDDING ourselves right?

Dombrowski needs to pull the trigger and pull it fast. This “ear infection”, which I don’t buy for a second, is just a hold over until they kick his ass out of the door.

And my hatred for Sandoval isn’t just because he is awful. But it’s because he has openly admitted prior to this season that his weight got so out of control because he was complacent with all of the money he had received so he let himself go and no longer had that drive. Go. Screw. Buddy.
