Yes I know if you are as big of a baseball fan as I am you have been waiting to read those words. On Thursday 7/23 there will be a Major League Baseball game played. There will be on fans in the stands, but that does not matter to me. I just cannot wait to sit back and watch some baseball. We will be able to talk about the games and all that fun stuff. It will get our minds off of what is going on in the world. I will be doing recaps and previews for the past week and upcoming weeks respectfully once the season starts. I am so happy to say here is my first one!

Thursday 7/23

In the first game of the 2020 MLB season we will see the Yankees at the defending World Series Champion Nationals at 7:08pm EST. This has everything we want to see out of the opening game of a season. Gerrit Cole verse Max Scherzer on the mound. The Yankees lineup of homerun hitters verse the National lineup of great all around hitters. What more could you ask for? This will be the perfect game to kick off the season.

As for the late game that is Giants at Dodgers at 10:08pm EST. This one should be another good one. Johnny Cueto verse Clayton Kershaw. As the Dodgers look to make it back to the World Series they have to start off hot with the expectations they have.

Friday 7/24

This is the day that we have all been truly waiting for. There will be 14 games on throughout the day. The only two teams not playing is the Yankees and Nationals. The first game of the day is the Braves at the Mets at 4:10pm EST and concluding with the Angels at the Athletics at 10:10pm EST. Some of the match ups I am looking forward to watching is Orioles at the Red Sox. Let’s see if the Red Sox pitching can hold up and help out the offense.

The White Sox open up against the Twins. I think the White Sox are going to be a very good team in this 60 game season. They get to play a playoff team to start. We will see how good they really are. Same thing with the Padres. They are a dark horse playoff team for me. I want to see if they can start off on a good note.

Saturday 7/25

Finally a day with every MLB team playing on it. All 30 teams will be playing on Saturday. All the match ups are the same. But I will be looking for the same thing as I want to see if some surprise teams can start off hot. With the season being so short if a team starts off 5-10 they might not be able to catch up. It is not like a regular season where they have a lot of games to make up the ground they lose early.

Sunday 7/26

Sunday is more of the same with every team playing again. I will just be happy to be able to tune into baseball games all weekend long. There is nothing I have been waiting for this year as much as this. I will be glued to my tv and phone to see what is going on with scores.

Wrap Up
