Whenever professional sports return, no fans will be in attendance. Right now, we do not know what that will look like, but we know it won’t be the same.
Steph Curry gave a sense of what life will be like for the fan as they watch games without spectators. He would go on to say, “it would be raw.” Everyone knows that these players trash talk to get a competitive edge. Some players can block it out, like Kawhi Leonard, but others, it affects their game.
Steph Curry on NBA broadcasts without fans in stands: “This will take it to a whole other level of pure insanity of what we say on the court” https://t.co/Kt3yFaYaxx

We, as fans, can now experience what they say potentially. It will be a new experience, to say the least, because we have never seen a professional ball game without fans.
Will players tone it down with no one in the stands, I think so. Players will know that they could potentially be heard more and could influence their reputation.
However, as a sports fan, I do not mind the games resuming without fans, like many others. If it is safe to do so, I hope the leagues get back to playing and giving people something to concentrate on despite what is going on in the world.
Players have a choice to make as talks ramp up, and decisions on playing again will occur. It has been a tough couple of months without live sports, but it will feel good again once professional sports are back.
