NFL to Start Training Camp As Planned

The NFL announced that training camp will start on time despite the coronavirus pandemic. Questions were swirling around whether or not the season will start on time or not.

Troy Vincent, NFL executive vice president of football operations, sent a memo to all 32 teams detailing training camp reporting dates. When players report, no more than 20 players will can be in the facility at time. This will go on until the NFL puts in policies that Players Union approves the infectious disease emergency response.

This is going to be interested to see. We still do not know whether or not the season will happen this year or not. However, it is very encouraging to see the NFL is doing whatever it takes to get the season to be played.

Training camp begins on July 28th, just 10 days away. It isn’t going to be the same because this year fans will no longer be able to watch the practice and interact with the players. One day, things will be back to normal but with the current circumstances we are living in today, the attempt to starting training camp on time is better than nothing.
