New England Revolution Vs. Montreal Impact Preview

The New England Revolution vs. Montreal Impact is coming up and this time, it’s here in Foxboro!

I am here to provide a preview as to what to expect in tonight’s game. Let’s get right into the action.

New England Revolution At Home!

The New England Revolution are coming off an impressive victory against Inter Miami!

Beating Miami at home in their own stadium by a margin of 5-0 was a thrashing if I may say so myself. In the first half, the Revolution took a commanding lead by 4 goals. Leaving Miami with no choice but to defend their part of the field in the second half.

Some of the things that have really worked out for Bruce Arenas this year with this team, has been the signings his made in the offseason. The additional signings have blended into this team perfectly and even from the start of the season, this time has been well balanced in terms of chemistry and their talents.

I fully expect to see this Revolution team to yet again, show that chemistry in full force and compliment one another well here at home. Expect the likes of Carles Gil, Arnor Traustason and our goal scorer, Adam Buksa to be impressive!

The Montreal Impact!

The Montreal Impact are coming to Foxboro knowing well what they are up against.

When you look at the record of the New England Revolution vs. Montreal Impact, their record so far has been 10-2-12 favoring the Revolution who have won 12 of those matches. However, It’d be completely wrong to under-estimate Montreal right now. The Impact have managed to be really good this year and exceed expectation.

Currently, this team finds themselves in 5th place in the league. They are coming to Foxboro with a bit of a chip on their shoulder after facing a narrow 1-0 defeat in their previous outing.

For Montreal, their key player to watch today will be Mason Toye. However, seeing that they haven’t done well and errors continue to be a factor, Revolution has a huge edge here.

New England Revolution and Montreal Impact Match Prediction!

While the Revolution are playing today without the likes of Matt Turner, Henry Kessler and Tajon Buchanan due to international duties, they only deal with one injured man which is Luis Caicedo.

On the other hand, Montreal finds themselves with Tabla and Diop injured while Miller, Piette and Quioto are out due to Gold Cup tournament and those outs hurts their offensive game big time.

So, as mentioned earlier, due to the many errors the Impact continue to create and some of their offensive pieces not available, I fully expect to see a Revolution win at home.

It’s simple, the Revs have really just been the most impressive team this year. This here could end with a 3-1 victory for the New England Revolution over the Montreal Impact.
