Lock, Fade And Stay Away (9/16/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s), and all of Fiesta’s make sure you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also give our podcast a listen on Sound Cloud (@thechasers). With that being said here are some of my lock(s) today, my favorite to fade, and my bet to stay away from today.

Lock(s):

Miami Marlins ML (1.42u/1u)

The Miami Marlins are currently fighting for the NL East crown as they are in second place at the moment and 3.5 games out of first place. Tonight they play a Red Sox team that has been good as of late, but the Marlins are going to be hitting the Red Sox pitcher tonight like it is nothing. Boston is throwing Mike Kickham who is a mediocre pitcher in the MLB. Miami’s young lineup should jump on him early and get the job done. Lock in the Marlins moneyline as I am risking 1.42 units to make 1 unit in this one.

Chicago White Sox -150 (1.5u/1u)

The Chicago White Sox are hot right now, as they have won nine out of their last ten. Chicago is standing on top of the AL Central and they host the Twins who they have beaten twice in a row in this series. Their lineup is young and talented, and is going to be a problem this season. Look for them to be trying to get out in front early tonight. Also Chicago’s pitching staff has been solid as of late. I am big time in on Lucas Giolito who is pitching tonight, and that is part of the reason why I like the White Sox. Lock in the White Sox as I am risking 1.5 units to make 1 unit.

Fade:

San Francisco Giants -160

The San Francisco Giants are 5-5 in their last ten games, and are currently fighting for one of the two wild card spots. They are taking on a hot Seattle team that have won six out of their last ten, and they are looking to secure one of the two wild card spots in the AL. Both teams were not expected to be fighting for a spot this late in the shortened season, but here we are. I love Seattle today and with that logic I am fading the Giants today.

Stay Away:

Over 8.5 (Cleveland Indians vs Chicago Cubs)

The over has hit in four out of the last five games for the Indians. While for the Cubs the under has hit in seven out of their last ten games. This game could go either way, but I think we get a good pitching duel tonight. We get Aaron Civale for the Indians and Jon Lester for the Cubs. I don’t see this being a high scoring affair as the final score will be 3-2 at most. Stay far far away from the over in this one, as I think the
