Lock:
Chelsea -1 (6u/5u)
Chelsea is one of if not the hottest team in all of Europe at the moment. They haven’t lost a game since they lost to Tottenham in the EFL cup in penalties, but they haven’t lost a game in regulation since September 20th. This team has also looked much better with Edouard Mendy in net. Chelsea has yet to give up a goal in their Champions League campaign, as Mendy has put up three clean sheets for Chelsea. Mendy has started in nine games for Chelsea this season and has seven clean sheets to show for it. He has also only allowed two total goals in those nine starts as well.
Upfront Chelsea is starting to get their chemistry together, and this team is going to be very dangerous not only in the Premier League but in the Champions League as well. Timo Werner is showing why Chelsea made the right move in signing him. They are getting good contributions offensively and defensively, and Chelsea is a huge lock play for me today. Lock in Chelsea as I am risking 6 units to make 5 units in this one, that is how confident I am with this that I am risking 6 whole units on this one game.
Fade:
Lazio -145
Lazio has struggled in their last two Champions League games. They have drawn with Club Brugge, and Zenit which are two teams that they should have beaten. Today they play Zenit again, but this time they are playing at home. I still think Zenit is going to be physical and will be able to contain Lazio’s attack. This game just looks like it is going to be a close one, and I can see them drawing again. Lazio is 1-2-0 and really need a win today, but I think they do not get it. Fade Lazio in this one as I don’t see them beating Zenit outright.
Stay Away:
Over 3.5 (PSG RB Leipzig)
RB Leipzig is a very defensive minded team, and PSG tends to struggle with those types of teams. Leipzig got the best of them last time they played twenty days ago, but PSG didn’t have Mbappe and Neymar. Today they should have both of them back and PSG is in must win mode. If PSG doesn’t win today, then they more than likely will not move on to the Round of 16. I think PSG can win this game, but there won’t be a lot of goals scored today. Stay far far away from the over in this one.
