Lock, Fade And Stay Away (10/5/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s) and all of Fiesta’s make sure that you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also go make sure you are giving our podcast a follow and a listen on Sound Cloud (@thechasers) as well.

Lock:

Over 56.5 (Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers) (1.1u/1u)

The Green Bay Packers look to take their undefeated season to see another day as they host the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. Green Bay’s offense has looked lethal this season, but without Davante Adams in the lineup again tonight how good will they be? No Adams, or Lazard puts the Packers receivers in a tough situation. Atlanta’s offense can put up points in a hurry, but their defense also allows a lot of points to be scored against them per game. 36 points per game they give up on average, and Green Bay gives up 28.3 points per game as well.

I see a lot of points being put up on the board tonight, as I don’t think that either side can stop the other from scoring consistently. Lock in the over in this Monday Night tilt, as I am risking 1.1 units to make 1 unit as well.

Fade:

New York Yankees -150

I’m not going to lie to you, I have sucked picking the MLB post season so far. I am hoping to be much better in the Divisional Round and I will start by telling you which one of the favorites to fade. Tonight you should fade the Yankees and there are two reasons why. First reason is that Tampa Bay has had their number the entire season, and in Cole’s last three starts against the Rays they are 1-2 in those games. The second reason is that the Rays looked great in their Wild Card Series against Toronto. While the Yankees looked average in their Wild Card Series against Cleveland.

I actually like the Yankees tonight which has been my problem lately. One team sticks out to me, because it looks like the right play to start off the week. I make the bet, and it blows up in my face. So because I like the Yankees in this spot today I am going to fade them, and ride with the Rays.

Stay Away:

Over 8.5 (Houston Astros vs Oakland A’s)

This game could easily be very high scoring, but it won’t live up to that expectation today. As we have Lance McCullers Jr. taking on Chris Bassitt. Oakland looked good in games two and three of their Wild Card Series, while the Astros did what they had to do to sweep the Twins. Also in Bassitt’s last three starts against the Astros this season the under has hit. Stay far far away from the over, as there will be little amount of runs put up on the scoreboard tonight.
