Lock, Fade And Stay Away (10/2/20)

Lock:
Miami Marlins +1.5 (1.2u/1u)
The Miami Marlins are one win away from advancing to NLDS for the first time since they won the World Series in 2003. The Marlins are a young team that is looking to show that they belong, and in Game One they did just that. Tonight’s pitching matchup we have Sixto Sanchez for the Marlins going up against Yu Darvish for the Cubs. Darvish has been great for the Cubs this season, and Sixto Sanchez has been good as well. I don’t know what side is taking this, but if the Cubs do win I see them winning by one run. Lock in the Marlins at +1.5 as I am risking 1.2 units to make 1 unit in this one.
Fade:
BYU Cougars -24
BYU is taking on Louisiana Tech tonight, and I don’t understand how the Cougars are such a heavy favorite. I understand that BYU is 2-0 and have looked very dominant in their first two games. Louisiana Tech is not one of those teams that BYU will look dominant against. If Louisiana Tech can keep BYU’s defense on the field not only will they easily cover the spread, but they have a realistic chance of winning this game outright. I do see BYU winning this game, but I see Louisiana Tech covering this spread. Fade the Cougars against the spread tonight.
Stay Away:
Under 216.5 (Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers)
Game Two of the NBA Finals hopefully will be a lot better than Game One. With Goran Dragic likely out for the series, and Bam Adebayo out for Game Two tonight the Heat look like they are going to be a underwhelming finals opponent for the Lakers. I do see this game being more high scoring tonight, and I see this over covering comfortably. I don’t see Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson both having a off nights again tonight. In my opinion I see a lot of buckets happening tonight and you should stay far far away from the under in this one.
