Legends Lingo Podcast Episode 115: Debut of New Co-Host…Matty D!

It’s episode 115 and there’s a lot of change going on with the Legends Lingo podcast! But instead of giving a long winded explanation like you’re giving a final presentation of your senior research project; let’s break it down one step at a time!

New Co-Host!

So for the last couple of weeks, Powder and I have been trying out fellow members of CGS to be a part of the Legends Lingo family. We just love the idea of having a third chair to help break ties, and give us fresh/different opinions. When it was all said and done, Powder and I agreed that Matt Desrosiers was the guy. Matty D brings a lot of energy and passion with his Boston sports takes. At this point, it was best we offered Matty D the spot and we are ecstatic that he accepted. So from now on, Matty D will be a permanent part of the Legends Lingo podcast.

Topics This Week

This week, it was a pretty baseball heavy episode with a bit of football. We get into the MLB opening up its season and the Red Sox got swept by the Orioles…yeah. Not great! Anyways, we talk about what went wrong, is this what we can expect from the Red Sox going forward, and should Tanner Houck stay up with the team going forward? Our answer? You’ll have to listen/watch to find out.

We also get into some football. Sam Darnold got traded to the Carolina Panthers this past week. Does this help the Patriots with potentially trading up in the draft for a quarterback? Could another veteran be out there for the Patriots to look into?

New Sponsor!

Shoutout to Manscaped. Hopefully we get them back as a sponsor in the near future. But for now, we have a NEW sponsor. A&B Burgers is one of the premier burger spots in New England. Check out their new location across from the TD Garden. Go in, grab a burger, and watch a game on any one of their nine 70 inch tv’s!

Other than that, sit back, relax, and enjoy the newest episode!
