Kenny Stills Tried to Get in Tom Brady’s Head Yesterday

During the Patriots throttling of the Miami Dolphins yesterday, ‘Phins wideout Kenny Stills was barking at Tom Brady from the sidelines for the entirety of the game.

Afterwards when speaking with the media, Stills said that he was “trying to get in his head.” Brady’s final stat line was 18/28 for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns and 1 INT. I don’t think his idea worked out too well.

I get what Stills was trying to do here, but I don’t think he realized whose confidence he was trying to shake up. Tom Brady is not only the greatest quarterback of all time, but he is also incredible under pressure. What made him think that yelling at a guy like that would actually work out in his favor? You can’t get in his head. If anything, it just made him look like an idiot running up and down the sidelines while his team was getting their asses handed to them. And seeing that his first reception didn’t come until the second half of yesterday’s game, I think it’s safe to say Stills should’ve left that job for somebody else. He was in no position to try getting under anyones skin with the way he was playing.

But in the end, it doesn’t matter. The Patriots wiped the floor with Miami, they’re on a 7 game win streak, and they get to play them AGAIN in a few weeks. It’s safe to say that they’re still the Pats’ little brother in the AFC East. Isn’t that right Jarvis Landry?
