What’s Covered This Episode?

With COVID going around, a LOT of players had considered opting out at this point in time. Jared and I get into David Price and his decision to opt out of the 2020 season. With David Price being the first big name to call it quits on 2020, who could be next? We got into Mike Trout and the potential that he could have said goodbye to the 2020 season as well. How bad would that have looked for baseball?

But this podcast is a Red Sox podcast at the end of the day. So obviously, there was a huge Red Sox topic we had to get to in this one. JD Martinez! He can opt out of his contract at the end of the 2020 season. If the Red Sox were to struggle (flat to the future: they are!), could this be the end of JD in Boston? What could the future hold for the slugger? We discuss all of the possibilities.
