Gordon Hayward’s New Chant Idea is Bad

Last night, our good pal Gordon Hayward was ripping up some Fortnite on his Twitch stream.

Nothing out of the ordinary here for GH. As many NBA fans know, the guy is a big-time gamer, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I play Fortnite all the time. Granted I’m absolute garbage in comparison to Hayward (and probably everyone else besides Smitty from Barstool), but I still play.

Mid-stream, Hayward decided to come up with a chant idea for the fans who come out to TD Garden next season to watch the Celtics. It was, well, see for yourself:

Hayward is obviously referring to the infamous video of his family’s latest gender reveal, where Hayward found out he would be having a third daughter. Based on his reaction in that video, he was none too pleased:

“Daddy’s Always Happy” might be the worst chant idea of all time. It’s right up there with the “J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!” chant. Gordon, stick to playing sticks and hoops. Let the professionals (fans) come up with the chants here.
