Fight Night At The Egg Bowl
If you were like me and were dying from a food comma last night, you missed a game between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Mississippi State won the game but that’s not the real story of the night. That would be the fisticuffs that happened as tempers began to flare late in the 3rd quarter.
As time expired in the third, Mississippi QB Matt Corral barely got the snap off and completed a pass to WR A.J. Brown. Brown maneuvered his way into the end zone while safety Johnathan Abram tried to wrestle the ball away from him. Corral ran over to celebrate the TD and tried pulling Abram off of him and then…. all hell breaks out!
Players on both teams started shoving back and forth and soon punches were being thrown, helmets were ripped off, and refs just blaming everyone for everything!
If you have not seen it yet, like I said due to the brutal food coma, do yourself a favor an watch it. It’s fantastic!
You can tell the ref is just sick of everyone’s shit and just decides to call a penalty on everyone from both teams.
Love the power move by that guy. I need more of these types of moments in all sports, especially college football.
