Another exciting matchup approaches week 3 of fantasy football and its time to get into a Cardinals at Jaguars preview. How will this match playout? Who knows. However, I am here to share with you some of the players I would strongly recommend along with some others that I wouldn’t play in week 3 of fantasy football season.
Cardinals at Jaguars – Player to Watch!

The rookie out of Purdue has been someone I’ve kept a close eye on and now I see why. Way before the NFL Draft happened this year, I considered him a sleeper pick and mentioned that whoever got him would be in for some excellent value in return. Now, it’s week 3 and probably the most chased after guy in the waiver wires across all fantasy leagues for many reasons. First of, he was able to make himself a reliable option for Kyler Murray against The Titans. Just last week, the man balled out against a Minnesota Vikings team that fought back till the end in that match. I think this is the game we could see Rondale ball out again especially against that atrocious Jacksonville Jaguars defense. If he is a viable option for you at the Flex position, definitely use him!

James Robinson – Jaguars RB

Sure, the past two weeks haven’t been significant for last years’ best waiver wire pickup altogether. However, a lot has changed since then. The Jaguars are adapting to a full new offense, especially as their new head Coach Urban Meyer steps into his role. Additionally, this year Jacksonville is adjusting as well to a new quarterback who has had his fair share of struggles these past two weeks. My rebuttal here is, don’t give up just yet on Robinson.
The Cardinals defense struggled week one against the Titans running game especially with how aggressive and explosive Derrick Henry is. By no means am I saying that Robinson is King Henry. However, I am saying this guys’ explosiveness out of the backfield will be plentiful enough to allow him to do damage here. If there is one thing clear for Coach Meyer, is that the running game involvement needs to be there, so easily expect and consider Robinson a solid RB2/Flex option.
Player To Avoid!?
AJ Green – Cardinals WR

As I wrap up this Cardinals at Jaguars Preview, there is only one player I could think to stay away from in this matchup. You might act surprise or you may agree with me here. However, hear me out.
While last week, AJ Green finally saw plenty of targets and receptions for himself, it came at a time where Kyler Murray needed far more options to throw to in a showdown against the Vikings. However, in this matchup I see the Cardinals wanting to spread the ball a lot more. Main targets for Murray this week are likely Hopkins, Kirk and Moore. We may even see some rushing yards from Murray and Edmonds too.
In this matchup, Green to me isn’t a starting option but this would be a good time to finish figuring out kinks with Murray in an effort to receive more targets moving forward and in other matchups.
