Sale is close. No really, he is! I mean, listen to the sound of the catcher’s mitt when Sale throws his pitches. It sounds like a guy that is ready to come in and contribute. Chris Sale makes the Red Sox better. He’d make any other team in the MLB better, we all know this. So if Sale is throwing a bullpen and looking pretty good doing so, then he’s definitely close to appearing in an actual game for the Red Sox. Plus, he said he’s never felt better than he did throwing that bullpen…for quite some time.
