Celtics’ Jabari Bird Arrested for Assault and Kidnapping

The young guard for the Celtics, Jabari Bird has been arrested for a domestic dispute which involved assault, kidnapping, and strangling per TMZ. Bird is currently being treated at a hospital while being guarded by police. The victim of his assault is also at a hospital being treated for the injuries suffered at the hands of Bird. Jabari Bird will be in court Monday, September 10^th regarding this arrest.

Jabari Bird was a rookie last season who mustered a total of 13 games. He averaged 3 points per game on just 8 minutes a game. The 23-year-old spent most of his season in the G League where he had more success. If these allegations are true, the Celtics have no choice but to cut him from the roster. More than likely, this will end his short NBA career.
