CBB Daily Report (1/24/22)
Another day, another daily gambling report on the college basketball slate. To recap yesterday, our Home Dog covered and almost won outright. Our favorite got the doors blown off of them. The over hit in the Butler vs Providence game for us. Finally, Quinnipiac cost us our first ever parlay of the day. We move on though as we have a solid slate of games for tonight on the hardwood. With that being said here is my daily gambling report for the College basketball slate for tonight.
Home Dogs: 6-5 (+0.5u) ML 2-9 (-6.5u)
Ole Miss +4 -110 ML (+155)
The Ole Miss Rebels are home dogs tonight against Florida. Ole Miss has been on a cold streak as of recent as they have lost four straight and will be without their leading scorer Jarkel Joiner. They take on a Florida team that hasn’t been great this year so far. The Gators are 1-2 on the road this season and will look to get back to .500 on the road tonight. However, even without their leading scorer I love Ole Miss to cover this spread. Florida is 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games. Ole Miss in their last eight home games as an underdog are 6-1-1 against the spread. The matchups between these two teams also have an advantage for the home team. In the last 5 meetings between these two teams, the home team is 4-1 against the spread. Also in these two teams last 21 meetings, the underdog is 16-5 against the spread. Riding the dog in this one tonight with the Ole Miss Rebels.
Lovin The Favorites: 6-5 (+0.5u)
Florida A&M -1.5 -110
We got some action in the SWAC tonight. As we got Florida A&M hosting Jackson State in this SWAC collision. Both squads have disappointed this season so far, but Florida A&M has been making some noise as of late. They have covered seven out of their last ten games. Also they are 4-2 at home this season, while their opponent Jackson State is 2-12 on the road. In the Rattlers last 19 home games, they are 14-5 against the spread in those games. Also Florida A&M is 10-4 against the spread in their last 14 games as a home favorite. Love the Rattlers here tonight, Jackson State doesn’t stand a chance against on the road at Florida A&M tonight.
Feeling The Over/Riding The Under: 5-7 (-2.7u)
Louisville vs Virginia (125)
We have an ACC showdown against Louisville and Virginia. This will be an intriguing matchup between these two teams. In this matchup I am feeling the over 125 in this one. The over has hit in 7 out of the last nine meetings between these two. In Louisville’s last 15 road games as a road dog, the over is 10-4-1 in that span. For Virginia, the over has hit in seven out of their last nine games against a team with a winning record. Let’s win this over tonight.
Arizona State vs USC (134)
A Pac 12 showdown that could be a fun one to watch. The matchup is between Arizona State vs USC. I am feeling the over 134 in this one. In the Trojans last six games as a favorite, the over has hit five out of those six games. USC has also had the overs hit in 5 out of their last 7 as a home favorite. Also in Arizona State’s last nineteen as a road dog, the over is 13-6 in those games.
