Buffalo Bills Investigating LeSean McCoy Accusation Of Beating his Girlfriend, Dog and Son; Quickly Denies Allegations
The first thing I thought of when I saw the news and read the post was just, “woah”. If you haven’t seen the Instagram posted by LeSean McCoy’s “girlfriend’s friend”, here it is.
@shadymccoy is THE DEVIL!!! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!!!!!! We didn’t say anything about how you beat your dog “Henny” into kidney failure. Let’s not talk about all the times my best friend had to stop you from VICIOUSLY beating your son for small things like peeing in the bed. We kept quiet about your drug usage … all the ILLEGAL steroids and needles you were using, but we will not keep quiet about this!!!!!! I can’t believe you did this to my best friend!!!!! YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL!!!!!! The world needs to know what type of animal you really are!!!!!!! Shady McCoy, the Buffalo Bills running back may have touched the field for the last time in the NFL. And remember, the most important thing to keep in mind here is that this is all just alleged as it stands right now. One thing that I hate about the internet is that because all news is so readily available, that once it hits Twitter or wherever you read your pieces, people immediately form opinions and some automatically assume that what has been said is 100% fact.
Now with that being said, IF this allegation does prove to have any truth to it, whoever planned on keeping McCoy in your fantasy league, start reevaluating because this guy might be an A+ scumbag. The Bills have already announced that they themselves are investigating the claims made to see what they can make of the situation.
LeSean McCoy posted a rebuttal earlier today after these accusations became public.
So from the sounds of it, according to Shady himself, this woman has to be his ex-girlfriend, right?
Regardless, truth be told I’m praying that nothing happened here. Absolutely nothing. Not because I care about McCoy. Hell, if anything that was said here is true he needs to be tossed in jail yesterday. Beating your dog, kid, and girlfriend? That kind of scum shouldn’t be allowed outside of solitary confinement. But I hope that what has been alleged turns out to be a fallacy because if it’s true, man is this tough to stomach. Nobody should have to live in fear like that and for his son… Nobody should have to be afraid of their father like that when they’re so young and defenseless.
This is some of the most disturbing news that has come out of sports in a while. I usually like to joke around in my blogs and keep them light, but you need to be careful with stories like this. And again, I can’t stress this enough. Just like I said over and over again in my blog when the Hanley Ramirez drug ring allegations began to pop up, don’t form your negative opinions on the accused until we have more information. As of right now, this is just an Instagram post. But again, God I hope that this isn’t true for the alleged victim’s sake.
