Boston Red Sox: Bobby Dalbec with a career night offensively against the Twins
This was the Bobby Dalbec that the Red Sox were hoping they’d see all season long. The 26-year-old hit two home runs and drove in seven RBIs against the Twins on Thursday night.
Dalbec helped power the Red Sox to win the three-game series against the Twins. The Red Sox defeated the Twins 12-2 on Sale Day, the left-hander would earn his third straight win. He would also throw an immaculate inning in third inning in route to the win.

In the second inning, Dalbec hit a three-run home run off Twins starter John Gant. The 403-foot shot would score Christian Vazquez and Jarren Duran. The Sox took a 3-0 lead and never looked back in the game.
Dalbec would break the game open in the sixth inning knocking in two more runs with a single off reliever Edgar García. Christian Arroyo and Duran would score giving the Sox a 7-2 lead. Rafael Devers would crush his 30th home run of the season in the inning as well.
One inning later, Dalbec would go bridge again hitting a 323-foot home run into the Monster seats. It was his second home run off García in as many innings. Duran who was recalled prior to the game due to Hunter Renfroe landing on the bereavement list would score his third run of the game.
Dalbec would receive a curtain call from the fans at Fenway Park.“It’s something you dream of as a kid,” said Dalbec on the curtain call after his second home run of the game.

Following the game, manager Alex Cora had some positive words for his first baseman. “He has been really, really good… He is doing a good job.” Notes that he’s pulling the ball. Not a lot of empty fly balls to RF lately,” said Cora.
The Red Sox head to Cleveland following the win for a three game series with the Indians.
