Another Week, Still No Sports

It has been a long couple months without sports, and it is not getting easier. Everyone has been just watching many reruns of past sport games. To me, watching those games reminds me that when sports do come back, it won’t be the same.

No crowds in arenas will be tough because that is what makes the games so great. The best moments are when the team that is on the road makes a key play or shot, putting the people to a halt.

However, at this point, we’re all ready for sports to make a comeback. We will deal with the fact there will be no fans, smaller arenas, and just a whole different experience.

Updates From the Sports World

The NBA is currently working out a timeline to return in Disney, while the MLB is working out deals with the players to get a season started. The NHL has express plans with a 24-team set up that would ultimately end up with the top 16 teams.

All leagues want their games to be played and are doing anything in their power to get that done. It will not be the same and it won’t be the same for a long time. But sports fans are ready. We need something to cheer for, something that will help us get through this pandemic. If the players can be safe and can play games, hopefully we’ll have sports within the near future.
