Buffalo at New York: 3 Things to Watch for
If you would’ve told me that the Buffalo Bills would have not scored a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars, I would’ve thought you were crazy. Well, that’s what happened last Sunday as the Bills lost to the Jags by a score of 9-6. Yes you read that score correctly. Buffalo did not score a single touchdown against Jacksonville. It was the worst loss under the current regime and the team will look to bounce back this weekend against the New York Jets. I gave you 3 things to watch for in the game.
Are the Bills Overlooking Their Opponents?

If you know the Bills and their regime, it’s a very business like approach. It seems like they approach each week the same, regardless of how good or bad their opponent is. Well, it sounds like they didn’t have that attitude against the Jaguars.
Jaguars CB Shaquill Griffin: "That's one thing I kept preaching at everybody else. Look on the sidelines, watching them walking around, it's like they don't care. They don't deserve this."https://t.co/XzNUUDS7Qd

According to Jacksonville cornerback Shaquill Griffin, it looks like the Bills took the Jags lightly. Now I’m not at the game or on the sidelines but I find it hard to believe that a Sean McDermott coached team acts cocky. However, it’s the NFL and anything can happen. Last week, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants beat the Las Vegas Raiders. Any given Sunday is my motto when it comes to football and the Bills learned that the hard way. Like I said, I’m not sure if Buffalo is taking their opponents lightly but they better not do the same thing against the Jets.
Offensive Line Struggles Continue

If you wanted a recap of the game in a picture, the one above is 100 percent accurate. Buffalo’s offensive line was absolutely brutal last week. I can’t remember if there was even a play where Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a clean pocket. They are missing Spencer Brown and Jon Feliciano because of injury, but Feliciano will be out for a few weeks and hopefully Brown will be back this weekend. The game was so unwatchable if you’re a Bills fan and the offensive line struggles is a huge reason why it was a dreadful day for the Bills.
Solving Mike White

The one positive from the Jacksonville game was the defense. Once again, they played well and did everything they could to give Buffalo the victory. They will face a new quarterback this weekend as Mike White will start for the Jets. He got hurt last week against the Indianapolis Colts but it was confirmed today that he would be starting this weekend. Looking at White’s stats, they aren’t bad for a small sample size. The Jets quarterback has 702 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. So far, he has gone against the Patriots, Bengals and Colts defenses. The Bills defense is one of the best units in the league so it will be interesting to see how they do against White who is taking over for Zach Wilson because of an injury.
