NFL Draft Betting Odds
First, let’s look at the odds for the first overall pick:
- Kyler Murray -1000
- Nick Bosa +350
- Dwayne Haskins +1400
- Quinnen Williams +1600
- Josh Allen +2500
- Ed Olilver +6600
So if you pick Kyler Murray to be the number one overall pick, you’d have to bet $1,000 to win $100. So if you were to bet $100 on Nick Bosa, you’d win $350. But it doesn’t really make any sense in the world to bet on Kyler Murray. With the Cardinals holding the number one pick, they may or may not move on from Josh Rosen. He’s been in plenty of trade rumors but with a new head coach, they’ll most likely lean towards a new QB. Steer clear of this bet, Murray is probably going to go number one overall.
But who will go number two? Well the odds makers think Nick Bosa is the man. So again, a $280 bet wins you $100 if you pick Bosa. I’d steer clear of this bet too.
Nick Bosa -280
Quinnen Williams +330
Kyler Murray +600
Dwayne Haskins +1300
Josh Allen +1400
If you want a bet to win you a lot of money, a good start would be to bet on whether or not a top 10 pick is traded. Currently the line stands at +500, meaning a $100 bet wins you $500. With a deeper draft class than before and with the top 10 teams desperately needing help, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the top 10 hold their picks. Another is first round quarterbacks drafted. Per Tom Fornelli at CBS Sports, he has four QB’s going in the first round. Though he believe that the Giants picking Daniel Jones from Duke is a mistake and I agree. Currently, the over/under for first round QB’s is 3.5. Under is a +250 (betting $100 wins you $250) so this is a bet that could make some dough.
Non Draft Lines
Patriots are +300 to win the AFC and +700 to win the Super Bowl. It’s hard to go back to back but seeing how the Patriots have played in the last 200 AFC title games, that +300 seems like easy money. The Saints at +400 to win the NFC seems like a good pick too but a sneaky big one could be the Eagles at +800.
