Yellow Card Podcast Episode 32

Welcome to episode 32 of the Yellow Card Podcast! Today the crew was joined by special guest Neil Caswell, and the quartet had tons to talk about.

Topics

Given that the recording took place a week before the New England Revolution’s season opener, it was only right to kick things off with some thoughts on the rapidly approaching MLS season. Neil shared his expert opinions on some of the Revs’ new signings like Arnor Ingvi Traustason and Wilfrid Kaptoum. Neil also picked out the likes of Tajon Buchanan as a player he expects to contribute at an even higher level next season.

Next up, we all shared our thoughts on expectations for the Revs ahead of the 2021 season. All four of us agreed that New England should be shooting for a top four finish in the Eastern Conference.

The guys then turned their attention to the Champions League quarter-finals. First, we recapped the action from the first legs. Next, we each gave our thoughts and predictions ahead of the second legs. Make sure to tune in to hear who we expect to advance into the semi-finals.

To finish up the episode, the boys gave their thoughts on Saturday’s edition of El Clásico. We touched upon score predictions for the game. We also addressed the elephant in the room in terms of whether or not today will be Leo Messi’s final El Clásico, and we brainstormed potential landing spots for the Argentine.
