Why The Raptors Are The Best Team In The East
As we know by now, the regular season record doesn’t matter much.
The Toronto Raptors had the best record in the East last season and didn’t even make it out of the second round of the playoffs.
However, this is a different Raptors team. The Raptors added an MVP caliber player in Kawhi Leonard and a champion in Danny Green.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

I will tell you this, the Raptors are the most complete team in the NBA right now.
The squad is completely healthy (unlike the Warriors), and they fill out every position. Kyle Lowery is finally stepping up and facilitating the rock. He is averaging 10 assists per game which is bananas since he’s also averaging 14 points per game.
Kawhi Leonard is playing like he’s on another level. Leonard has scored at least 30 points seven times this season. Five of those games have come against three teams (Warriors, Celtics, Sixers). He is capable of controlling the tempo and taking over any game.
36 for Kawhi tonight. The Raptors have won 21 of their first 26 games. 😳😳 pic.twitter.com/FfGSmOpizd

The biggest surprise from the Raptors this season is their Power Forward, Pascal Siakman.
Siakman has averaged 14.8 points per game and nearly 7 rebounds per game. He is doubling his averaged totals from the previous year. If he can keep it up, he will be a contestant for the most improved player award.
Listen, I’m a Celtics fan, and I’m telling you that this Raptors team is loaded. Not saying that the C’s can’t win the Eastern Conference Championship, but they are going to have to dig deep and play solid team basketball. There are still a lot of games left, so get ready for this wild ride.
