Who to Bet on for the Thanksgiving Games

Tomorrow is glorious Thanksgiving aka the forgotten holiday.  It’s a real shame too because the food is arguably better, and this holiday has football.  Granted Christmas Day basketball is by far superior, but football and turkey will do for one day.

Bears at Lions (+4) — Bears

I would take the Bears on the road for tomorrow.  This is a win or get your head coach fired type game.  Somehow the Bears are in the hunt for a playoff spot, and the Lions have completely given up on their season.  With Stafford out and the team looking like they are giving up on Patricia, take the Bears -4.  They are the better team, but Trubisky has been their weakness all season long.  Tomorrow will be no different he’ll put up sub-200 yards and 2 TD’s but nothing flashy.  This will be enough to take down the Lions on Thanksgiving. 24-10 Bears.

Bills (+6.5) at Cowboy — Bills

This might be the easiest pick of the day. The 8-3 Bills are 6.5 point underdogs against a 6-5 team? Yea, I’m going hard on Buffalo tomorrow.  They are by far the better team, and Jason Garrett is an idiot coach and Jerry Jones is an idiot GM.  I also love how well Josh Allen has been this entire season, and people forget this team is currently a playoff team.  If they played in any other division they would have a home playoff game.  Dallas is an overall mess right now.  Dak started the season really hot and the Cowboys looked like an elite team, but the coaching has been horrible.  Jason Garrett doesn’t put them in any position to win close games and those 5 losses show that.  Buffalo, even if they lose they will cover.

Saints at Falcons (+7) — Saints

The Falcons rolled over the Saints last time they played, and from my understanding the last time I watched NO play a Thanksgiving game they killed it.  I like the Saints on the road in the ATL tomorrow night.  They should get the offense going early against another suck bag team in the Falcons.  Brees and Thomas should hook up a couple of times against the horrible Falcons secondary.  The Saints won’t lose two games to the Falcons this year.  Saints by at least 14.
