Vote Today And If You Don’t, You Can’t Complain About Who Wins
It’s one of my biggest pet peeves in the world. And yeah, I might be writing this today because I couldn’t sleep last night and therefore, I’m a little cranky. But regardless, it really grinds my gears when someone doesn’t actually go out and vote and then continues to complain until the next election.
I completely understand that there are people who can’t make it out the night of. Sometimes you just have a busy life and you can’t make it to these types of events. And sometimes you are in different locations that are hours upon hours away from your polling place. Yeah, that could make things tough. But that’s what absentee ballots and early voting are for.
There are so many easy ways to cast your vote. It’s simple and it’s one of the most American things you can do. One of the greatest things about our country is that you can physically go somewhere and select someone who YOU want to lead your district, state, and country. It’s a wild but hey, it’s very real here in the States.
There are way too many people who don’t vote and I know that we’ve already seen a spike in voters this time around, but we need to get as many people out there to voice their opinions as possible. If you don’t go out and at least contribute to someone’s numbers, then how can you combat the opposition? Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, just get out there.
It’s election season, baby. Go cast your ballot and if you don’t, I don’t want to see any kind of criticism for who wins and I don’t want any complaining about the question results.
