Fantasy Start ’em
Quarterback
Philip Rivers @ Oak– Rivers has been solid all year and next up he gets a Raiders defense who seems to have given up on the season. They just gave up 262 yards 3 touchdowns and 22.2 fantasy points to first time starter Nick Mullens. Ever heard of him before that? No? Me either. Rivers is a locked in QB1.
Running Back
Tevin Coleman @ Cle – Over the last two weeks the Browns have let up 266 yards 4 touchdowns and 74.4 fantasy points to opposing RBs. This week Coleman will feast on the Browns defense and is locked in as an RB1.
Wide Receiver
Tyler Boyd vs NO – Boyd has been a pleasant surprise this season for both the Bengals and fantasy owners. With AJ Green sidelined this week, Boyd gets the number 1 receiver spot against a saints defense that is dead last in holding opposing receivers in check. Look for Boyd to have a huge week.
Tight End
Jordan Reed @ TB – Reed has been a dissapointment this year, but this is the week he turns it around. The Bucs have allowed at least 50 receiving yards to opposing tight ends in every game but one this year. Also they have allowed 5 receiving touchdowns to tight ends in those games. This will probably come back to bite me but I’m starting Reed this week.
Fantasy Sit ’em
Quarterback
Russell Wilson @ LAR– The Rams finally lost a game, which means this week they’re going to be playing with an edge. With Carson sidelined I think the Seahawks offense takes a hit and Russell will be taking multiple hits on Sunday because of it. Wilson may pull a rabbit out of his hat but I don’t like his chances this week against the Rams.
Running Back
Kerryon Johnson @ Chi – Johnson has shown some promise this season as a talented runner, but this week he gets the stingy Bears run defense. Its also worth noting that Johnson hasn’t notched a game at least 20 carries yet this season. He’s out of all lineups this week for me.
Wide Receiver
Golden Tate vs Dal – This will be Tate’s first game as an Eagle and I don’t think he will find much success. Since Tate has always been a volume guy, I don’t expect him to get the volume needed to be relevant with how many talented players the Eagles have on offense. I what I think will be a low scoring game, Tate is on my bench this week.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowski @ Ten – Now if you have Gronk, you’re probably starting him. But be warned, he hasn’t scored a touchdown since week 1. And he’s coming off of injuries in the worst possible matchup he can get (the Titans are the number 1 defense against opposing tight ends). Gronk is on my bench this week.
