I want to start this off by saying that I am absolutely not a soccer guy by no means, but I LOVE the way fans go bananas when a goal’s scored during the World Cup.
This has to be one of the greatest celebrations for a goal that I’ve ever seen. I have no idea who won. I have no idea who England was even playing. None. Do I care? No, not really. Listen, if the US was in the Cup, then yeah, I’d pretend to be a soccer fan for a few weeks and then go back making fun of the players flopping for 3.8 years.
You gotta respect the passion though. I love it. If you’re a sports fan there’s not a chance that you can crap on this. Legendary celebration all the way around and I WISH I was this into soccer so I could lose my mind when a goal’s scored. Let’s go, baby. That country better score that goal. The Sox are off tonight so maybe I’ll catch a minute of a game.
Man, I can’t wait to be a fake soccer fan in four years.
