Top 50 Basketball Players of All-Time: 10-6
10 Shaquille O’Neal (1992–2011) C: Perhaps the most physically dominating player to ever play the game, Shaq kicks off the list of the 10 greatest basketball players of all-time. The leader of the Lakers’ dynasty in the early 2000s, O’Neal led LA to 3 straight championships and won the Finals MVP every single year. Finishing with 4 rings total, Shaq is also an MVP, a 15-time All-Star, and made the All-NBA 1st Team 8-times. He’s also one of the greatest personalities the game ever had.
9 Kobe Bryant (1996–2016) SG: Long-time teammate of Shaq, Kobe Bryant just edges out O’Neal on the list. Playing all 20 seasons with the Lakers, “The Black Mamba” finished with 5 rings which included 2 Finals MVPs. Kobe also ranks 3rd all-time in scoring with 33,643 points, made 18 All-Star teams, the All-NBA 1st Team 11 times, and the All-Defensive 1st Team 9 times as well. Oh yeah, the dude also scored 81 points in a game too.

8 Tim Duncan (1997–2016) PF/C: Ever since he entered the league, Tim Duncan was a force. By far the most humble superstar I can remember “The Big Fundamental” (amazing nickname) was the main cog in the Spurs’ dynasty as he won a total of 5 rings. He won the Finals MVP in 3 of those. As for other accomplishments on Duncan’s amazing resume, he won back to back NBA MVPs, was a 15-time All-Star, was a 10-time All-NBA 1st Teamer, and was an 8-time All-NBA Defensive 1st Teamer. Not bad for a guy who’s said 10 words in his life.

7 Wilt Chamberlain (1959–1973) C: One of the greatest talents the game has have ever had, Wilt Chamberlain is the definition of a monster. As the only man ever to score 100 points in a game, Wilt had INSANE career averages of 30 points per game and 23 rebounds per game. He also was a 4-time MVP, a 13-time All-Star, and won 2 championships. He’s also claimed to have sex with over 20,000 women; so there’s that as well.
6 Bill Russell (1956–1969) C: While Wilt is probably the greatest offensive center of all-time, Bill Russell is the greatest defensive center of all-time. The leader of the Celtics’ legendary dynasty, Bill Russell has the most championships of any player in history with 11 total. Russell also has an incredible 5 NBA MVP awards to his credit. But the reason why he and Wilt are not in the top 5 is due to the fact that they played in a league that only had 8 total teams in it. That’s not their fault but the league just wasn’t as good as it is now with 30 total teams.
