Tom Brady Can Make Anything Look Good

It still doesn’t feel real. Though it feels a little more real now that the Buccaneers, at Brady’s request, unveiled their photos of him in their new/old jerseys because when the GOAT says to do something, you do it.

Brady in the Bucs Jersey

God dammit… wouldn’t you know, he pulls it off.

Never have I so badly wished that I was a host from Westworld, where they are programmed to simply not see things that represent the true painful reality they live in.

I am sure many of us during Tom Brady’s free agency could never imagine him in a Tampa Bay uniform. It seemed so absurd, to go from a New England Patriot, the team synonymous with success and domination for 20 years to the Tampa Bay Bucs, a team so irrelevant they own one super bowl from 18 years ago and the last time they made the postseason, Brady and Randy Moss were setting the football world on fire.

I find it interesting that Brady chose this picture as the one for his own personal social media. I would not have pegged Brady as a huge fan of the color pewter but here we are, this is the year 2020 in a nutshell.

Also, low key, Brady might be talking me into buying a pewter Bucs jersey. I feel like whenever I finally built up the emotional stability, or more like numbness, to finally do it I was going to go with the red one, but if the GOAT likes pewter, who am I to argue?

One thing I am glad about is that the Bucs changed their uniforms this year, Brady deserved better than what Tampa Bay was rolling out last year.

This certainly hurt us Patriots fans, I think we can all agree on that.

Final Thoughts

Yesterday was certainly tough to swallow, and more pain is on its way when we get back to playing football and then the reality of Brady playing for Tampa Bay will smack us right in the damn face. But at least we don’t have to deal with seeing Gronk in a Bucs jersey any time soon right?
