This Future Star Wants To Play In Boston

For Red Sox fans, thankfully, this season is coming to a close. The Sox currently sit with a 22-36 record, and it is an absolute shock to me they have won that many games. They STINK. Miraculously though, they are not the worst team in baseball. Nope, that title falls to the Pittsburg Pirates. They haven’t even won 20 games. So the Red Sox have to be the second-worst team. WRONG. Texas Rangers hold that spot currently and don’t seem to be giving it up anytime soon. Sox come in at the third-worst team in the MLB. Hate to see it.

How to Fix it

Pitching. Pitching and more pitching. That’s its bottom line. We need arms. I can’t even tell you who is pitching for the Sox tonight or who even is in their bullpen at the moment. It is a dumpster fire over there, and the flames don’t seem to be slowing down. Thankfully for them, there SHOULD be some stud pitchers in this year’s MLB Draft class. I should be because frankly, you never really know in this sport. All it takes is for one of these guys to get the Yips, and their career is over before it even began.

Who Is The Answer

Kumar Rocker. The kid is a stud and will continue to be a stud for years to come, that I can guarantee! He burst onto the scene during the college world series when he put the whole world on notice as a freshman throwing a 19 strikeout no-hitter during the super regionals. Did I mention he was a freshman? He is 18 years old on the biggest stage in college baseball, and he goes out and makes everyone look like they have never swung a bat before. Whoever ends up with him is going to have their Ace for the next ten years.

The Sox should draft him…Right?

Not that simple. We sit at the third overall pick in this year’s draft, and if Rocker falls to the two spot, it would be a shocking development, never mind number 3. I want this kid here so badly, but it just seems out of the question at this point. Even if the Pirates win their next two games against Cleveland, they will still wind up with the first or second pick overall. I’m sorry to say Sox fans, doesn’t look like Kumar is coming to Fenway.

Where Kumar Want To Get Drafted?

Funny, you should ask, the MLB posted on Instagram last night one of the walk-off hits, and a fan commented underneath it tagging both the Red Sox and Kumar. Well, you can see the rest of the story.

It’s clear he wants to be here! I don’t know how to make it happen, but like Kumar said, “need it.” This would be huge. The bottom line is to get this stud in a Sox uniform. NOW!

Conclusion

Kumar wants to be in Boston, so Bloom pull some more magic out of your hat and make it happen. Again, I don’t know how, but just do it! If this Pipe dream does come to fruition, Red Sox will win the 2021 World Series. Bookmark it, write it down, do whatever you have to do. Just mark my words if Kumar Rocker is wearing a Red Sox uniform opening day 2021. The Sox will repeat the 2013 magic and win the 2021 World Series.
