The Warriors Bench Is Costing Them
I thought the superstar players would carry this Warriors team past the Rockets. Last week, I went over that the downfall of this Warriors team would be their lack of talent on the bench. We saw this in last nights game, as the Rockets took the series lead 3-2. This is a serious problem for the Warriors. Luckily for them, Chris Paul will not be playing in game 6 due to a hamstring injury sustained in last nights game.
How bad is this Warriors bench playing right now? Well, James Harden was 5-21 from the field and 0-11 from three. Yeah that’s right, James Harden played like absolute garbage and the Rockets still won. Does Harden care about his poor shooting last night? Absolutely not, he’s going to come out firing in game 6 and put the Warriors away early.

This all shows how important Iguodala actually is to the Warriors. Ever since he has been out with an injury, the Warriors offense has been asinine. They desperately need him to come back healthy and contribute to this struggling team. We should see Nick Young and Livingston receive a little more playing time in game 6. Both of these players are capable of scoring the ball and Livingston can also play defense.
I’ll admit it, I predicted the Warriors to win this series in 6. I thought Durant, Curry, Thompson, and Green would pull it together. However, the Warriors are still not out of this series. This team is capable of dropping 130 points in a game. With Paul being out for game 6, that gives Curry an opportunity to shine. Curry has to have a vintage Curry game (dropping 30 plus points) in game 6.
