“The Shoe That Grows” Can Change The World

The charity Because International has created a shoe that can expand up to five sizes. Because International has dished out over 120,000 pairs of these shoes to kids in developing countries. These shoes are made out of rubber that can last up for five years.

Wow what an incredible invention Because International has came up with. First of all hats off to them for giving back to kids in developing countries, that never get to wear shoes/sneakers. Most of these children grow out of donated shoes in about a year, and often receive sole transmitted disease from walking barefoot. 1.5 billion people suffer from such diseases, so Because International is making a massive impact.

Second of all, where were these shoes when I was growing up? I was constantly going through growth spurts and had a new shoe size every year, till I was about 15 years old. Hopefully in the long term this company can start making these shoes in large capacities so it can save families boat loads of money.
