The Red Sox Have A Lot To Prove

The Red Sox have 12 games remaining before the postseason, and they have a lot to prove. I am currently not too confident in the Red Sox and they have these next two weeks to prove me wrong.  I looked ahead at the teams the Sox will be going up against and it should be a cake walk. Two games against the Orioles, a series against the Blue Jays, and a series against the Reds. So the Sox get to play the two worst teams in their division, and the Reds who are one of the worst teams in baseball. The Red Sox do have a crucial series with Houston to close out the season, but that will be a good playoff preview.

If the Red Sox can not win these remaining series between the Orioles, Jays, and Reds, well I will lose all hope in them. Seriously, these are teams that the Sox should absolutely destroy. The Red Sox literally have the perfect end of season schedule right now and they have to take advantage of it. John Farrell needs to get the starting pitchers in a groove and the lineup in a flow before the playoffs. The Red Sox could also end the season with a bang if they can win their last series against the Astros. This four games series will also be at home, so the Red Sox do have an advantage. The Sox and the Astros are more than likely going to play each other in the ALDS, so this will be a mini preview of the post season.
